Reggie Lester better known as “Big Regg” was born and raised in the north end of Hartford, Connecticut. As a youth, Regg had dreams of being a NBA basketball player and an Entertainer.  As a young teen he fell in love with Hip Hop, and quickly learned how to “Pop” and "Break Dance".  He would travel around the City of Hartford showcasing his talents and soon thereafter he learned how to DJ and he developed his party promotional skills.  When his NBA dreams started to fade after graduating high school, he was given an opportunity to DJ on 910 JAMZ, a small but popular AM Radio Station in Hartford.  He began with a Sunday afternoon show, which led to a promotion into the Monday thru Friday evening show which was quickly recognized as the Number One show. He became one of the top radio personalities in Hartford.  He was soon recognized by the the larger powerhouse Hip Hop radio station in Connecticut, Hot 93.7.  He was hired and became a very popular personality through his weekend shows.
